An employeed I didn't know I had.

I'm back over in Placid, doing a friend a favor. (Hi Zero) And I come across a mining op. Can mining. Don't they ever learn. So I flip a can...there's only about 1000 m3 of ore in there..but its better than nothing I suppose. I get lots of target locks thrown my way from a vexor, a retreiver and an exequeror..but nobody seems to be up to doing anything.

I've been in this system many times before, so I go and pick up a badger I've got stashed here, and go pick up my spoils. WOnder of wonder...when I get back there is a thorax who lights me up...250mm rails. And a warp scrambler. Being ever prepared, the hauler is of course stabbed and gets away. I return in a Merlin, where the target is still there. He dies a slow..agaonizing death due to the pop-guns attached to the merlin. But I've been tanking him, and three of his buddies.

Now, either because he's lucky or smart, he's pulled me 50km away from the rest of his mining party. On my way back to engage the rest of the flashing people...most of them warp off...except for an osprey armed with...artillery? That's a travesty of fitting that must die. And does. The loot's mostly garbage except the guns from the thorax...Then things get lively in local.
