Finally...I've been trying to hang outside of Jita, as being in Jita seems to be the death of my connection. Although, I manage to undock right on top of Joe...and can't resist trying to blow him up.
He's without backup at all, and isn't aggressing as I get him close to the magical tipping point of a passive tank...when I disconnect. I figure oh well...I'll come back, he'll have docked..BUT LO! JOE has actually aggressed me on the station while I disconnected. This could have been bad, I was gone a couple minutes.
The black screen clears, and YES! I'm still alive...um...okay...barely damaged...Right, snap the drones out, pray the connection holds...hit him! He's got docking sickness and overheat the world...let's do it..let's do it..let's...disconnect. *RAGE*

Finally...I've been trying to hang outside of Jita, as being in Jita seems to be the death of my connection. Although, I manage to undock right on top of Joe...and can't resist trying to blow him up.
He's without backup at all, and isn't aggressing as I get him close to the magical tipping point of a passive tank...when I disconnect. I figure oh well...I'll come back, he'll have docked..BUT LO! JOE has actually aggressed me on the station while I disconnected. This could have been bad, I was gone a couple minutes.
The black screen clears, and YES! I'm still alive...um...okay...barely damaged...Right, snap the drones out, pray the connection holds...hit him! He's got docking sickness and overheat the world...let's do it..let's do it..let's...disconnect. *RAGE*

Joe Show...Joe can't get a kill...
Short Joe Show episode. Including real combat this time!
So, I log on and one of my corpmates is all excited...he was beating upon Joe most mightily with his stealth bomber. When? Just now..And Joe was logged outside station...righty, hop in the covops throw some probes out there and...logon...Hm...dock and grab a drake. Between me and the corpmate...Joe docks.
(Well, it would seem that someone finally showed Joe how to fit a ship...that's not the WCS special)
After a couple dock/undock sessions...I leave my corpie out there and pick up some more dps. Gank-a-brute. I roll out and..hm...there is a second red guy out there and a sudden explosion.

Notice, no Joe on the killmail. But, I figured that he *must* have aggressed. So I start in on him..and he docks (huh? Whatever). In the meantime, the rupture has been plinking away at me from 20km (With autocannons?) So I throw my drones on him and he decides that warping away's a good idea.
Right...maybe Joe will aggress something smaller. Let's grab a vexor.
He sits about...15km off the undock and down.. Still within docking range (damn these Caldari stations with their docking ranges of doom) Throw some drones on him and wait and watch...His tank stabilizes around 50% at which point, a cane undocks... Right, let's throw the drones on him and *ow* freaking autocannons. Sit and duke it out toe to toe for a bit...but someone's got more buffer on than I do...time to hit the GTFO button...MWD out of range and warp out.

So, Joe's been hiring...newbies mostly. No idea what he's filling their heads with. But he's not telling them important things like 'do not autopilot while at war'. Captain 10bears ran into that one personally the night before.

So, as always. We have an investigation. But for the first time absolutely no pre-investigation has occured.
The IEEE has a new employee, and he is, for lack of a better word, SuperBear. Super bear enough that he's got to train Diplomacy 5 in order to be able to freely fly around Empire space. Who was getting tired if the game and wanted to get his hands dirty before leaving.
So, we needed an investigation. An appeal to Crime & Punishment went a little awry. But a suggestion eventually came through.
